i'll come back fat as.
but i dont care.
see what we're missing by not living there...
cadbury freddo frogs, caramello koalas, MILK CHOCOLATE. <3
.
allen's sweets. i miss the jelly beans and minties..*sigh* 'its moments like these you need..'
.
smith's salt and vinegar chips...yum.
.
'my mum, adds some fun and the flavour...to make the cordial, that i like best'...yeah, i still remember the ads. =P
.
arnott's biscuits...kingstons and monte carlos are the bomb.and so are the shapes, tim tams, raspberry and blueberry tarts and mints slices, and wagon wheels..i could go on forever.
.
but its not just the unhealthy food.
i love the fish and chips, with solo. but it has to be eaten and drunk at a harbour or near the sea.feeding seagulls is a must. haha.
.
and la porchetta's. the best italian food. and speaking of italian food, the best gelatos are found on Lygon street... =P
.
and i dont really like dim sum, but for some reason it tastes better over there. the dan tarts are to die for. and so is their mango pudding. woohoo. and their siew mai is insane. really nice, not soggy at all like the ones you sometimes get here.
.
the french onion soup is awesome too. my mum turns it into this wicked apricot and peach chicken. i'd be able to live off of it, no worries.
.
another place of the bombest food is Victoria market. especially when its cold.
we went there last time, after church. it was in autumn, and it was freezing. the best remedy? victorian market hot jam doughnuts. you have no idea how good they taste until you've had one.
but they're usually covered in way more icing sugar, and the hot jam oozes out when you take a bite...*sigh*
.
i seriously miss australia.
im gonna go there, buy tons of clothes, eat to my heart's content and worry about putting on weight when i get back.
